I couldn’t possibly be more excited. I clearly remember the Reds winning the whole ball of wax in 1990, when I was twelve. I went to the fateful game in 1999 against the Mets when Al Leiter shut the Reds down on the way to an NLCS bid. That was a rough night for Cincinnati baseball.
Last night, though, the Cincinnati sports skies opened up a bit. The Reds have a pretty tough postseason road against some teams that look pretty danged strong, but they’ve made it in, and they’ve got a chance. Here’s hopin’, chumps. Here’s hopin’.
