 Late last week, some lady in the UK made the news as a “Human magnet.” This is, as you might guess, total bullshit. It also seems to show up as news in the UK every couple years or so. Behold:

 Well that was just ridiculous. The fight between our beloved Cincinnati Reds and the St. Louis Cardinals underscores a couple of things: 1.) Brandon Phillips is right. The Cardinals are a bunch of whiny bitches. 2.) He is a moron for saying so. The Cards, and especially their manager, whine about everything. Buddy, wearing your hat like that ain’t gonna make life any better [...] From the department of “Nothing About This is Sane,” some guy conceived of a Sound of Silence-inspired “musical concept” and put it up for auction on ebay. Opening bid? $500,000. You can, however, buy it now for only $550,000.
