 Every few years or so, the issue of panhandlers seems to rise back to the top of the “local news hot topics” what-have-you, and it’s appeared again. This time, unlike the weird “Jeff Berding wants to go all Jonathan Swift on the homeless” issue last year, its appearance in the news is a much more nebulous [...] Let’s see if you can put it together in pictures: [View with PicLens] “Congrats,” Councilman. It’s just the manly thing to do. Jeff Berding fails at that. Perhaps he saw how stupid his motion to tax beggars is? Perhaps he heard the outcry of people calling [...] When I saw the headline, “Berding: Tax panhandlers” appear yesterday afternoon at the Enquirer’s website, my first thought was, “Wow, Jeff Berding is a giant asshole.” Over the last week, Cincinnati and Hamilton County leaders have begun wildly gesticulating about the homeless problem downtown.
